unease at the adverse effect of the recession on profits. So, as the chairman, you want to
dispel this gloomy atmosphere, and say:

I also feel disappointed by the situation, but let’s not discuss it now.

I admit that sales at present are a little lower than usual, but we have every reason to expect an
